This is purposely designed to encourage participants who feel they cant both swim and run to be able to get involved in Triathlon (no excuses mom\/dad).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n This is very much a Novice Event with mostly shorter distances than normal, however for the Adults who fancy something very challenging the “Adult Sprint” 400m swim\/5Km run involves one of the toughest (hilly) run courses in the sport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Sandwell Aquathlon 2014<\/b><\/p>\n Sunday 6th<\/sup>\u00a0April<\/b><\/p>\n Haden Hill Leisure Centre & Park<\/b><\/p>\n Both an Adult & Children Event suitable for<\/b><\/p>\n the whole family<\/b><\/p>\n An Aquathlon consists of a swim followed immediately by a run<\/p>\n So you like swimming or maybe you prefer running, why not put the two together and have ago at Sandwells very own Aquathlon. An Aquathlon is a Triathlon without the cycle section and the main starting place to begin in Triathlon.\u00a0 Distances are shorter than in most events making this Event ideal for those new to the sport as well as the experienced.\u00a0 For those more\u00a0experienced, the Adult Sprint is one of the toughest run courses around.\u00a0 Can\u2019t both swim and run; why not team up with a family member or friend and\u00a0enter as a Relay team?
