Do you fancy a change from your everyday swimming routine?\u00a0\u00a0 Why not challenge yourself and swim a mile in open water for\u00a0Mencap<\/strong>, on 20 July 2014.<\/p>\n

Swim Mencap\u00a0will see 200 participants swim in the open waters of the prestigious Olympic venue of\u00a0Dorney Lake, Windsor, all doing something amazing by raising money to support people with learning disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

It would be great if your swimming club would like to take part in this exciting event. You have the choice of swimming\u00a0half a mile or a mile, and the swim is open to people of all ages (under 16s will need parental consent).<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s only\u00a0<\/span>\u00a325<\/strong>\u00a0to register and\u00a0<\/span>\u00a315<\/strong>\u00a0for under 16s.\u00a0 Participants can also swim with friends or family and register a group of 3 for\u00a0<\/span>\u00a360<\/strong>.\u00a0 There is a suggested sponsorship of\u00a0<\/span>\u00a350<\/strong>\u00a0per participant, but the more you can raise the more will go towards our work supporting people with learning disabilities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Visit<\/strong>www.mencap.org.uk\/swim<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to register today!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mencap\u2019s new ambassador Paralympic gold medalist\u00a0Jessica Jane Applegate\u00a0is supporting Swim Mencap for the second year and will be providing training tips for participants throughout the next few months.<\/span><\/p>\n
