Well done to all the swimmers who over the weekend\u00a0competed at this year’s Boldmere Water Carnival. <\/span><\/p>\n

First day – Saturday – Massive shout out to Harvey Higgins and Lewis Carless. \u00a0Harvey was 4th on the 50 Back and 5th on the 200 Free, and alongside a huge PB Lewis won a silver medal\u00a0in the 200 Free. Brilliant swimming from everyone. Other notables on the day were:<\/span>\u00a0Lewis who was 4th on the 50 fly; \u00a0Tom Reader<\/span>\u00a0who\u00a0won a bronze on the 100 fly and fourth on the 50 fly.; Jess Deans also came 4th in the 50 fly too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second day – Sunday – In the boys 50 free Harvey Higgins came 4th and Lewis Carless 6th – and in the girls 50 free Sophia Deans won a silver medal, and her sister Jessica came 4th in the 11 year age group. In the girls 400 Free Jessica Jones managed a 3.5 second PB. \u00a0In the boys 200 Butterfly Coach Tom Reader swam a very creditable PB and managed 7th place overall – cheered on for the whole race by his swimmers in the stands! In the boys 50 Breast Lewis Carless came 5th in his age group. In the girls 50 breast, Sophia Deans came 6th in her age group. In the boys 200 Breast, Alfie Williams won a bronze medal in the 9 year category. In the 100 Free, Jessica Deans got a 5th place in her age group. And to finish off\u00a0the day, Harvey Higgins came 4th and Lewis 5th in the 100 IM.<\/p>\n

Other swimmers competing over the weekend were Jamie Keyte, Jessica Jones, Dominic Blackwell, Katie Gulliver, Andrew Gulliver, James Bodenham and Dominique Gomez.<\/p>\n
