Sunday 7th October saw four Beeches swimmers take part in an Olympic event that took place at Tudor Grange in Solihull. The Solihull Aquathlon, organised by Solihull Tri Club, had four Beeches entrants – James Nankervis, who as a 9 year old came 8th out of 16 competitors in the 9\/10 category; Jessica Deans, who came 2nd in the 9\/10 category; and Jessica Jones and Katie Gulliver, who came third and second respectively in the 13\/14 category. For their first attempt, which saw them swim in the pool, run outside bare foot, and put on trainers and T\u00a0shirt and run, they all did amazingly well. Congrats to all four of them.<\/div>\n
