We therefore need to find someone to take over the reigns from Roy. Many thanks to Roy Smith for his hard work since he took on the role.<\/p>\n<p>Details of the Role:<\/p>\n<h3>Role<\/h3>\n<p>To produce and manage club accounts and monitor finances<\/p>\n<h3>Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Some financial background and knowledge of producing accounts desirable<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of using and working with spreadsheets or other account systems<\/li>\n<li>Reliable and honest<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Main Duties<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for all club finances<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the budget throughout the year<\/li>\n<li>Issue receipts and keep records of all monies received<\/li>\n<li>Plan the annual budget in agreement with the management committee<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that funds are used appropriately<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date records of all transactions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare end of year accounts and present to the auditor and management committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Commitment<\/h3>\n<p>Ongoing responsibility for club accounts<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Benefits to Self<\/h3>\n<p>Contribution to ensuring a well managed club and an opportunity to make a real difference to the success of your club<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If anyone is interested please email <a href=\"mailto:volunteer@perrybeechesswimming.co.uk\">volunteer@perrybeechesswimming.co.uk\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0or talk to a member of the committee when you are next at the pool.
