The Perry Beeches SC Masters Team<\/span><\/b> \u00a0joined \u00a0Swimmers from all around the UK\u00a0who<\/span>\u00a0converged on Queen\u2019s Street, Derby for a special Etwall Eagles 10th Anniversary Masters Meet<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The event is \u00a0one the \u00a0best attended Masters Swimming \u00a0Meets in the UK, was full to capacity with 200\u00a0<\/span>individuals representing 49 clubs , ensuring \u00a0it would be a very competitive day .<\/p>\n

The Beeches Team took 6 swimmers to Derby , \u00a0Angelika\u00a0McDonald, Steve\u00a0Dunn, Ross\u00a0Emery, Charlie\u00a0Wheadon, Andrew Gulliver and Paul\u00a0Bates.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Over the day the team competed \u00a0in no less than 30 races , which resulted in a fantastic \u00a04 gold, 9 silver , 4 bronze \u00a0\u00a0and \u00a0<\/b><\/span>27 top 5 placing .<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Gold winners for the team were \u00a0Andrew Gulliver<\/b> in 100m freestyle and in both 25m backstroke and butterfly \u00a0(18- 24 age group )\u00a0<\/span>and Gold also went to Ross\u00a0Emery<\/b> in the25m freestyle (34-39 age group), with the help and support of on poolside coaches \u00a0\u00a0Mandy\u00a0Blizard <\/b>and Helen\u00a0Pordage<\/b>, the beech<\/span>es 6 managed ( with only a small team ) to get placed 8th<\/sup> \u00a0in the \u00a0team event out of 49 teams..a superb all round team effort .\"10467065_10152823276725907_6969826378639790375_o\"<\/p>\n
