<\/a>Special mentions go to the following people:<\/p>\nBecky Gulliver<\/strong>, who made the 50 Backstroke final in the 14\/under age group, winning a Bronze<\/strong> medal.<\/p>\n 12 year old Carys Higgins<\/strong>, who swam the 400 Individual Medley – an achievement in itself! Carys came 10th in the 12\/13 year age group, achieving a Midland Qualifying time in the process<\/em>!<\/p>\n Jamie Keyte<\/strong>, who made the 50 Butterfly final in the 16\/over age group, winning a Bronze<\/strong> medal.<\/p>\n Joel Harris<\/strong> for making the 100 Breaststroke final in the 11\/under age group – coming 7th place in the final, but improving his time from his entry time.<\/p>\n Lewis Carless<\/strong> also made the 100 Breaststroke final in the 14\/under age group – finishing 8th place.<\/p>\n Becky Gulliver<\/strong> then made the 100 Freestyle final in the 14\/under age group, finishing in fifth place, improving both her time and finishing position from the heats.<\/p>\n Next were the 10 – 12 year old girl relays. In the PB Black team were Aisha Guizani, Kianna Hughes, Isla Lawson and Carys Higgins<\/strong> – they finished 8th out of 13 teams. In the PB Red team were Lois Markham, Ella Gabbitas, Megan Russel and Isla Duerdin<\/strong> – they finished 12th out of 13 teams but gained some invaluable racing experience in a long course pool.<\/p>\n Next relay were the 13 – 15 year old boys freestyle – Harvey Higgins, Lewis Carless, Musaab Khan and Jacob Dunn<\/strong> – they finished 9th out of 12 teams.<\/p>\n Harvey Higgins<\/strong> then made the 50 Freestyle in the 14\/under age group – winning Gold<\/strong> in this event.<\/p>\n Carys Higgins<\/strong> – not to be outdone by big brother Harvey, made the 50 Breaststroke final in the 12\/under age group – coming 7th place in the final, and also achieving a Midland Qualifying time<\/em> \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Then the 13- 15 year old boys were back for the medley relay – this time coming 8th out of 12 teams.<\/p>\n Next to make a final was Becky Gulliver<\/strong> this time in the 100 Backstroke. Becky won Silver<\/strong> in this event, and also came third with a Bronze<\/strong> medal as the third fastest 15\/under at this year’s Warwicks.<\/p>\n Next relay was the girls 10 – 12 years Medley relay team consisting of Ella Gabbitas, Kianna Hughes, Carys Higgins and Aisha Guizan<\/strong>i – they placed 10th out of 12 teams.<\/p>\n Jake Dunn<\/strong> was very happy to make the 50 Backstroke final in the 13\/under age group, placing 8th in the final.<\/p>\n Becky Gulliver<\/strong> then made the 50 Butterfly final in the 14\/unders, placing 5th in the final – again improving both her time and finishing position from the heats. Katie Gulliver<\/strong> also made the 50 Butterfly final in the 16 and overs, placing 6th in the final. Katie also achieved the Midland time<\/em> in this event, and improved her time in the final from the time in the heat.<\/p>\n Carys Higgins<\/strong> then made the 100 Breaststroke final in the 12\/under age group, placing 5th in the final – improving her time in the final.<\/p>\n Big brother Harvey Higgins<\/strong> then made the 100 Freestyle final in the 14\/under age group – winning Gold<\/strong> in this event. Lewis Carless<\/strong> was also in the same 100 Freestyle final – gaining a place on his entry position finishing 7th.<\/p>\n Becky Gulliver<\/strong> also made the 50 Freestyle final in the 14\/under age group – winning Gold<\/strong> in the final.<\/p>\n Joel Harris<\/strong> made the final of the 50 Breaststroke in the 11\/under age group – placing 6th in the final (gaining two places \ud83d\ude42 ) and breaking 46 seconds long course for the first time \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Big thanks for Catrise and Trearna Hart<\/strong> for coming along for the Medley relay team in the 13 – 15 age group – along with Tegan Nolan and Becky Gulliver<\/strong> – they placed 8th out of 12 teams.<\/p>\n And finally Becky Gulliver<\/strong> made the final of the 100 Butterfly at the end of a long weekend’s swimming, placing 4th in the final, with a faster time than she had swum in the heats.<\/p>\n Other swimmers who took part over the course of the championships were Metin Ulukus and Daniel Johnson.<\/strong><\/p>\n A presentation was made to all of the swimmers in the County who had represented Warwickshire in 2018 – Harvey Higgins and Becky Gulliver were presented with a certificate each.<\/p>\n Massive well done to all who took part – lots of personal best times achieved, making one very happy head coach Helen Pordage<\/strong>.
