Fees
Two costs: a monthly fee for your sessions, and one annual fee for club and Swim England membership. We are a non-profit club run by volunteers, and fees cover pool hire, equipment and insurance.

Good to know
- Monthly fees are an annual cost spread evenly over twelve months, so the same amount is due every month, including school holidays.
- The annual fee covers club membership and your Swim England membership, which provides your insurance at the club and at events. Swim England sets its part of the fee.
- Families with three or more children swimming pay half price on the lowest monthly fee, and on every fee after that for further children. The discount is on monthly fees only, not the annual fee.
- If you transfer your Swim England membership from another club, you pay no annual fee until the next membership year starts on 1 January.
- Swimmers who choose to compete also pay entry fees for the open meets and county events they enter.
- To leave the club, give one month's notice.
How you pay
Monthly fees are collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless, set up from your Swim Club Manager account. You will be invoiced there, and you can see what you have paid at any time by logging in. The joining guide walks through setting it up.
If money is tight
Talk to us before you fall behind. Email the treasurer at finance@pbsss.org.uk and it stays between you and them.
