Are you aged between 9 and 14 on June 11th? Then why not have a go at the STOURBRIDGE JUNIOR SPRINT MEET (formerly known as the Stourbridge B grade. (Please get your entry forms back to Helen Pordage by Sunday 19th March at the latest).
This meet is designed to give an introduction for less experienced swimmers to the world of open meets. There are no lower cut off times and the upper times are designed to stop A grade swimmers entering to give the average club swimmer a chance of coming away with a trophy or medal.
The trophies or medals are for the top six in each event and the top three in each age group in IM events and the winners of each event get a coveted Cut Glass Crystal Goblet. They are accepting on a first come basis so clubs and swimmers who get their entries in early will have no rejections. The only proviso is that they prefer all entries to have times if possible for ease of administration. Entries with no times will only be accepted if the meet is not full. Please note if the event is full and the number of swimmers exceeds the safe limit of the pool swimmers who have only entered one or possibly two events may have to be refused.
PLEASE NOTE THE SWIMMER MUST NOT BE FASTER THAN THE FOLLOWING CUT-OFF TIMES:
Entry forms available from the Stourbridge website:
