Car parking is plentiful and will be free for both days of the Meet. There will NOT be a bacon-butty/sausage bap van outside the pool as this is no longer allowed due there now being a Costa coffee shop within the foyer – hot drinks must not be taken onto poolside, even with a lid on them, thank you.
If anyone from afar needs an overnight stay, there is a Redwing Lodge (formerly a Travelodge) just across the road which still has available rooms.
Please could all clubs/coaches bring to our attention any disability swimmers you may have entered for the purposes of the Referee and computer team, either beforehand or on the day. There will be a slip in the Coach Pack to request this also.
There will be a swimwear shop supplied by Sporty Swim.
There will NOT be a professional photographer this year but parents may take their own photos and videos as long as they comply with ASA guidance which will be available to read at the entrance desk.
Session times for both days are:
Morning: 8.30am Warm up and 9.30 Start (in reality nearer 9.35) and Afternoon: 1.15pm Warm up and 2.15pm Start. The afternoon session may possibly change but willnotbecome earlier than this. If all goes to plan, Saturday should finish around 5.00pm and Sunday around 4.30pm followed by presentations.
The warm up schedule is attached as is the draft seating plan. Those of you not in the actual seats may bring fold-up chairs. Three clubs (Northgate, Solihull and Stafford) have only one swimmer so they can go anywhere, or with parents in spectator area.
Results will be printed and stuck on the wall along the corridor. They will also be uploaded to our website,www.shrewsburyasc.co.ukon the Monday.
Finally, doors will open at 8.10 both mornings. We look forward to welcoming you all there.
I think this covers everything but if you have any questions or anything, just email me.
