First full sessions at the club are on Sunday 4th January 2015.

Welcome to the new Beeches Club Captains.

For the boys it was a one horse race – Jamie Keyte has his hands firmly on the shield for the whole year.

For the girls the popularity vote was a split one – between Penny Whittingham, Jessica Jones and Katie Gulliver.

Well done to all of them – I am sure they will be excellent role models and encourage the younger swimmers along their way 🙂

Congratulations to this year’s winners of the Vernon Tonks memorial trophies for 2014. The points are accrued during the club’s Christmas gala – the ‘Diddy’ swimmer with the most points wins the trophy, one for boys and one for girls.

For the girls it was Ella Payne.

And for the boys it was Lewis Carless

Big congratulations go to both swimmers – they are a credit to the club.

The proposed Family Fun Day has been postponed, and will now take place after Christmas (date to be advised). Sunday 21/12 will now be the last available lessons for all groups. Seniors and Masters will have a combined session from 15:00 until 16:30. Brian’s last widths class of the day will start at 16:00 and finish at 16:30.

The Club’s annual Christmas Disco will be held on Sunday 21st December, at Hollyfields Social Club from 19:00. Tickets are on sale NOW!!!  Cost will be the same as last year – £3.50 a ticket, or £15 for a family ticket (5 people). There are a limited number of tickets available so get your orders in now!!!
