GulliverJones and Powellinators meet at SwimBritain

The GulliverJones team (aka Andrew, Katie, Becky Gulliver and their adopted sister Jessica Jones) swam against the Powellinators (aka the Powell family – Jason, Jenny, Thomas and Max) at Saturday’s fun family event at Coventry pool.

Swim Britain Cov 310813 018

Organised by SwimBritain to encourage more people to swim together. Both teams did well, and came second and third respectively (the team who came first included a commonwealth games hopeful from Coventry). They all thoroughly enjoyed the day, and also had the opportunity to meet Ellie Simmonds, who signed all of their medals for them.

Keep your eyes and ears open, as the event will hopefully run again next year.
