Available to buy at £5 each, we are sure they will be a popular item. All enquiries to secretary@perrybeechesswimming.co.uk.

Solihull Diddy Warm-up Gala

Beeches11s
A very depleted team, mainly due to School holidays, and with only 5 boy swimmers, traveled to Solihull for the first Diddy warm-up gala of the season.
The swimmers who were there had a thoroughly good time. For  Jack Skett – a 9 year old, who has only recently come up into the lengths group, it was a good start to gala life. He asked if he could do this every week! All the 9 year olds enjoyed themselves, which is encouraging  for the coaches. Atmosphere on poolside was verygood, and all of the swimmers were well behaved.

WWL Round 1 at Droitwich

After having been delayed (round one normally takes place in January) by the snow, this was Beeches first major outing since the Christmas Break.

Against tough opposition from Halesowen, Stourbridge and Oldbury, the Beeches team fought boldy to come fourth on the night.

With wins from Jessica Deans (Girls 11/under freestyle), the Mixed 15/under Medley Relay and Freestyle races (Jessica Jones, Dominic Blackwell, Sareena Gaddu, Dominic Cotter, Katie Gulliver and Jamie Keyte), Dominic Cotter (Boys 15/under Butterfly) and Dan Smith (Open Mens Breastroke) it was a good start to the year. In total there were 19 top 3 finishes out of 40 races.

OThe Perry Beeches Masters’ swimming Team once again produced an amazing set of results at last weekend’s ASA Staffordshire Masters County Championships held at Wolverhampton’s central swimming baths

Beeches took a Team of 9 swimmers to take on best swimmers in Staffordshire these were Jennifer Powell, Ross Emery, Stuart Fuller, Claire Thorn, Katie Price, Des Burley, Diane Doolan, Becky Smith and Paul Bates, between the 9 swimmers they won an incredible 29 Staffordshire County Titles, and if that was not good enough there were also 8 silvers and 2 bronze medals won on the day. It was made even more impressive as for some of the team it was there 1st competitive race of any type in over 15yrs and longer!!!
