Three Beeches swimmers entered this year’s Midland Masters Swimming Champs, held at Leamington Spa at the weekend.

Cathy Reekie, for whom the Masters was her first major open meet, swam well in her two chosen events. Cathy won Bronze in the 100 Breaststroke, and came 4th in the 50 Breaststroke.

Dianne Doolan won Gold medals in both the 200 Breaststroke and 100 Butterfly – and excellent personal best times in both events! So we now have a Midland Champion in our midst 🙂

Pete Purdy competed in the 100 Breaststroke, placing 5th, the 50 Butterfly, placing 6th, and the 200 Freestyle, placing 4th.
