We will be announcing two Open Water Development Days for all cat 1 and 2 members between the ages of 12 and 16 and the information will be sent directly to the members. These sessions aim to raise awareness and provide an introduction to Open Water Swimming. Please keep an eye out for further details.
Whether you’ve got specific skills and years of experience or have never volunteered before, there is an opportunity for everyone to volunteer at Birmingham 2022. They are looking for more than 13,000 spirited, dedicated and dynamic volunteers to be the heartbeat of the Games. Changing rooms will not be open, so all swimmers must arrive ‘Beach ready’ for their lessons and sessions (costume on under clothes), coming straight onto poolside without getting changed
No spectators on poolside
All swimmers aged 11 and over MUST wear a face covering whilst moving around i.e. on entering and leaving the buildings (unless they have an exemption)
All swimmers, volunteers, Teachers and Coaches MUST socially distance at all times. Follow the markings on the floors, and leave your bags by a 2meter marker
