WWL Round 3 – Well done to the Team
A big well done to ALL of the swimmers who took part in Sunday’s final round of the Winter Worcester League. A depleted team, due to holidays, rallied round and cheered each other on through the whole gala. A special mention to the 11/unders who came in as last minute substitutes – Harvey Higgins, who swam the 50 butterfly and 50 free, and Alfie Williams, who swam the 50 breast (both of whom are only 9 years old), and Hannah Lawrence – without whom the 11/under relays could not have taken place.
Full report to follow – awaiting the gala results from the league.
All sessions cancelled at Beeches Pool for Sunday 13/04
The pool has not yet completely been refilled and the decision has been made that this will not be completed before Sundays sessions.
All sessions cancelled for Sunday 13/04 at Beeches.
The pool will make a decision about Monday’s sessions on Sunday – the website will then be updated.
Apologies for any inconveniences this causes but it is out of the club’s control.
All sessions at Erdington (Friday) and Handsworth (Monday) carry on as normal.
Beeches Pool shut Wednesday 09/04/14
Due to a technical problem, Beeches Pool is currently shut. It will remain shut for at least tomorrow, so all sessions on Wednesday 9th April are cancelled.
This site will be updated with any information as we receive it.
