Pomoters Conditions
1.The promoter of this meet is Staffordshire ASA.
2.The closing date for entries is 26th January 2014.
3.All competitors must be registered with the ASA, or registered as an unattached swimmer, and have
completed the entry form in full.
4.Poolside entries will not be accepted.
5.There is no restriction on the number of events that a swimmer may enter.
6.Warm up starts 45 minutes before the commencement of each session.
7.There will be awards for the top three places in each age in each event, no presentations will take place.
8.Anything not covered in these conditions will be at the discretion of the promoter
9.Age Groups will be 15/17, 18/24, 25/29 & in 5 year age bands as necessary, there is no upper age band
10.Masters Age Groups in relays 120+, 160+ & 200+. All swimmers must be over 25 years.
11.The Age Group Relay will be 60+. All swimmers must be over the age of 15 years.
12.Swimmers can only compete for one club during the competition.
13.25m events will start at the shallow end of the pool, you should ensure that you have the necessary ASA
Start Award if you wish to enter these events; the promoter will not be responsible for any injury caused.
14.Depending upon the number of swimmers, the promoter has the right to change the number of lanes used
for each event.
15.Forms without entry times will be swum in the slowest heat and relays will be organised into age bands,
using the minimum number of heats.
16.Acceptance of entry will be posted on www.icklepeoplesoftware.co.uk and also by email where address
provided.
17. It is your responsibility to check the details and query anything before the 5th February 2014, as we may not
be able to make changes to the programme of events/times after this date.
A big hearty congratulations goes to all who took part in this year’s Annual Christmas Gala. With 452 scheduled swims, the gala went ahead thanks to all the hard work and effort by the Beeches volunteers.
Even new Senior Coach Tom Reader swam, after quite a few years away from the water – Tom said it was an enjoyable and interesting experience.

Special congratulations to all the ‘swimmers of the future’ the 6’s and 7’s, who all did really well, and all got a medal to congratulate them for taking part.

Perry Beeches Masters swim team have managed to finish 2013 of in style, by claiming 7 gold’s at IX Etwell Masters Meet held at the Queens Centre pool in Derby last weekend
The beeches team competed against 44 others team from around the England as the last big Masters swimming competition of the year.
The swimmers that travelled to Derby were Jenny Powell, Steve Dunn, Ross Emery, Rebecca Smith, Claire Thorn and Angelika McDonald…
Over the day of the meet , The beeches SIX produced some amazing performances both individually and as part of Beeches relays teams , they eventually came away from the pool at the end of day
with 7 gold’s, 6 slivers, Plus another two silver medal performances in the ladies freestyle and medley relays both times loosing the gold by less than second to the City of Derby Swimming Club ladies team…
Overall it was great team effort which as a result meant Beeches had been placed 8th in the team competition out ofthe 44 masters club that competed
, special note of well done must go to Angelika and Steve who were taking part in their 1st swimming events in over 20 years….
The Perry Beeches masters team now numbers over 20 members ranging in ages from 20`s to 50`s is looking forward to great 2014..why not pop down and have a swim just for fun or maybe even to race.,

Spaces are available on the Level 1 Teaching Aquatics course at Birmingham University starting on Friday 10th January.
The course runs every Friday evening until 21st March from 5.30pm – 9.30pm.
The cost is £395 but volunteers from swim21 clubs (and Perry Beeches SSS is Swim21 accredited) can claim regional grant aid of 50% which is payable to the club on completion of the course.
