Lewis Carless, who raised Seven hundred and seventy one pounds and seventy four pence for the Birmingham Childrens Hospital, handed over the cheque to the delighted staff this week.
Lewis, pictured with his younger brother Mason, who is currently being treated at the Hospital, swam 5000 meters in 2 hours and 19 minutes at Beeches swimming pool on Saturday 13th July, and also took part in activities at his school. For Lewis, who is only 8 years old, this is a massive achievement. Massive congratulations to Lewis from all at PBSSS.
If you would like to come along and try us out for size – the easiest way to do this is to come along to Beeches Pool on a Sunday, in time to get in the water at approximately 16:30. This is a chance for the teachers to have a look at you, and let you know the relevent stage / class for you.
