Night at the Dogs 15/08/15
Mercian Round 2 – Night at the Snowdome!
Perry Beeches SSS swimmers made the short journey to Tamworth last Saturday for the second round of this year’s Mercian League. The swimmers had an enjoyable night, with twelve personal best times achieved.
Six first places on the night went to Penny Whittingham (100 I.M. and 100 Butterfly), The girls 10 year old’s in both the Freestyle and Medley relays (Sophia Deans, Becky Gulliver, Catrise Hart and Trearna Hart), Sophia Deans (50m Freestyle), and Becky Gulliver (25m Butterfly).
With twenty ‘Top 3’ finishers on the night, the coaches should be proud of their swimmers performances. A big Beeches well done to all who took part.

500m Ryan & Michelle Cox-Coley 26:02 (Michelle 1st ever Open Water Swim )
Ryan also came 2nd in age (& 9th overall ) in the 2 mile event 45.40
Charlie did super swim in the Tough Mans event the 5k.,coming 7th in age and a great 19th over all in 1.09.38…top effort by all.
Well done to Dan and Lucy at the National Masters
Well done to Dan and Lucy at the British Nationals over the weekend in Manchester .think between them they must have a dozen+ races..
Lucy had few PB`s and Big Dan had 2, 3rd places in 200mIM and 400IM and then Big Man went on to became National Champ at the 200m Breaststroke..top effort both .
