A big Beeches well done to all of the swimmers who competed at this weekend’s City of Birmingham Level 2 Open Meet held at Stechford Baths in Birmingham.
The Beeches swimmers won a total of 32 medals over the weekend. Leading the medal haul were Becky Gulliver (with 13 medals) and Lewis Carless (with 10 medals). Two gold medals were presented to Lewis Carless in the 800 Freestyle, and Becky Gulliver in the 100 Freestyle.
A massive congratulations go our finalists over the weekend. Katie Gulliver made the 50 Butterfly final (finished 6th). Jamie Keyte got to four finals over the weekend: 50 Butterfly (finished 6th); 100 Butterfly (finished 4th); 50 Back (finished 3rd); 50 Free (finished 4th).

Other swimmers over the weekend were Jessica Jones, Ella Payne, Drew Rimmer, Cameron Rimmer, Harvey Higgins, Ravell Bailey and Carys Higgins.
