The Royal Wolverhampton School is running a FREE Starts and Turns clinic for swimmers aged 14 years and under to hone their skills prior to the Regional Championships.
The session will run on Sunday 8th March from 4.30pm – 6.30pm at The Royal Wolverhampton School Sports Centre.

Tickets are now on sale for the British Swimming Championships which takes place at the London Aquatics Centre from 14 – 18 April.
Swimmers competing at the British Swimming Championships will get the opportunity to race at the London Aquatics Centre for the first national swimming event since 2012. The five-day competition runs from 14 – 18 April and will see the country’s best aiming to qualify for the FINA World Championships in Kazan. They will also have the chance to secure their places for the European Games and the Youth Olympic Festival.

Please help us by paying your annual membership payments before the end of February 2015. Without this the swimmer is not insured to swim in the water.
We also need your newly completed paperwork, to ensure that all of your details are up to date.
If you have received a standing order form through the post then please check that you are paying the correct payments (e.g. if your child has moved from widths to lengths there will have been a price increase).

I am booking a table at the Boars Head for the 3rd of March 2015 7:30pm. This is open to all Parents and I just thought it might be nice to get together for a social without the kids. The cost of the meal is £12 (to be confirmed) and drinks are to be purchased separately so as to avoid a bill at the end. As much as I love you all I don’t want a bill to settle at the end. All interested parties please let me know, you will have to pay the £12 upfront to myself. Looking forward to a great evening.

Swimming is a great way of getting active whatever your age or ability. It’s a low impact sport that can be enjoyed on your own, or with friends. If lane swimming doesn’t inspire you, there are plenty of group activities in the pool to get involved in which are great for socialising and making friends.
If you are new to swimming or are returning to the pool and want to brush up on your skills, there are lots of swimming lessons available that are aimed specifically at adults. Use our handy Pool Finder tool to find your nearest pool and talk to them about ASA Adult lessons.
Most pools are open for early morning swims and close late in the evening. Different sessions are run throughout the day so you will often find adult only sessions or sessions just for women– contact your local pool to find the best time to suit you.

ASA Swimfit group classes (Swimfit Activate +) are available at pools across the country. You are able to discuss your individual goals with a fully qualified Swimfit Activator before getting started on your very own pool workout programme. You’ll have the support of your fellow swimmers and the motivation from your activator to help you go to greater lengths every time you swim.
