Sunday 19th September 2021 – lesson changes

No Seniors / Masters session at 7am at Castle Vale.

Handsworth:

Small pool (widths) lessons remain unchanged.

Big Pool – we have teachers and lots of swimmers missing due to an open meet 🙂

Advanced Lengths will be taken by Vicky.

Beginners Lengths will be taken by Lisa.

NO JUNIOR SQUAD ON THIS DAY (normally 14:45 – 15:45)

Youth Group will be taken by Dave Marsh – 14:45 – 15:30

Masters lane will be 15:00 – 16:00

Adults will swim 15:30 – 16:00

Widths into lengths will not swim on this day, but can attend Beginners lengths on Thursday instead – please let us know which day you would like to attend.

Pheasey Closed in August

The school have decided to close for the whole of August this year, so no fees will be charged to Pheasey swimmers for August. We return to Pheasey on Monday 6th September. Any queries please either use the contact us button, or email contact@pbsss.org.uk

Virtual Open Water Development Day – Deadlne Extended

Good Afternoon

 

Please note that the deadline has been extended so members can continue to sign up for our Open Water Development Days until Thursday 24th June! The surveys will close at 11.45pm on Thursday 24th June. Please find attached a letter with further details on the Development Day, including the sign up links.

 

Please also see attached two Code of Conduct documents, one for the athletes and one for parents/guardians. Members must have read these documents before sign up as they will be required to tick that they agree to them when completing the surveymonkey form.

Open Water Development Days

From West Midlands Swimming:

We will be announcing two Open Water Development Days for all cat 1 and 2 members between the ages of 12 and 16 and the information will be sent directly to the members. These sessions aim to raise awareness and provide an introduction to Open Water Swimming. Please keep an eye out for further details.

Volunteer opportunities at the Commonwealth Games
