Yesterday saw the ASA East and West Midland Swimming Open Water Championships for 2014. This was held at Bosworth Water, near Hinkley in Leicestershire.
Paul Bates, who had competed in the the steel man triathlon 2014 at the beautiful Eton Dorney in Windsor only the day before, came a creditable 3rd place, in the 40 to 50 age group. This was swum over 3K, in a time of 41.15.
Big congrats to Paul for his swimming over the weekend.
