August Time Trials Update
The results of last night (and last week’s Handsworth) Time Trials are in the Members section under the Time Trials Heading.

August Bank Holiday Weekend Closures
All swimming sessions cancelled for Sunday 25th August and Monday 26th August. This is for both Beeches and Handsworth Pools.
Erdington pool IS open on Friday 23/08 – if you are not sure of the appropriate swim time please text Mandy on 07793 560698 for advice. All swimmers welcome at Erdington (from Babes through to Masters swimmers!)
Time Trials this Wednesday 21/08 for lengths swimmers
For all lengths swimmers.
Junior Lengths swimmers – 18:00 – 19:00.
Diddy swimmers (age 11 or under) 19:00 – 20:00
Senior swimmers (age 12 or older) 20:00 – 21:30
Please attend the session appropriate for your age, as the distances will differ between the groups.
Head Coach Position Available at PBSSS
Due to Dave Marsh’s intention to retire in the new year, and Amaro Viloria’s impending departure, Perry Beeches SSS is now actively looking for a new Head Coach.

Either level 3 Club Coach or Level 2 Coach working towards level 3 Coach.

Lewis hands over a cheque for over £700 to Birmingham Childrens Hospital
Lewis Carless, who raised Seven hundred and seventy one pounds and seventy four pence for the Birmingham Childrens Hospital, handed over the cheque to the delighted staff this week.
Lewis, pictured with his younger brother Mason, who is currently being treated at the Hospital, swam 5000 meters in 2 hours and 19 minutes at Beeches swimming pool on Saturday 13th July, and also took part in activities at his school. For Lewis, who is only 8 years old, this is a massive achievement. Massive congratulations to Lewis from all at PBSSS.
