Well done to all the Beeches swimmers in WWL final

A big well done to all the Beeches Swimmers who swam in the final round of the Worcester Winter League. With sixteen out of thirty two races achieving personal best times, the swimmers should be very proud of themselves. Special mention to the winners on the day – Dominic Blackwell, for the 15/under Breaststroke, the 15/under freestyle relay team (Jessica Jones, Sareena Gaddu, Katie Gulliver, Dominic Cotter, Dominic Blackwell and Jamie Keyte) who all swam well. Also to Denis Sokolov, who won the 13/under boys Backstroke, also managing a six second personal best time, and to Jessica Deans won the 11/under freestyle. Other ‘top three winners’ on the day were: Katie Gulliver (15/under freestyle and 15/under Butterfly), Jamie Keyte (15/under freestyle), Pia Tonks (13/under backstroke), 15/under medley relay team (Jessica Jones, Sareena Gaddu, Katie Gulliver, Dominic Cotter, Dominic Blackwell and Jamie Keyte), Danya Gaddu (11/under backstroke and 11/under Breaststroke), Dominic Cotter (15/under Butterfly), Jessica Deans (11/under Butterfly), Sareena Gaddu (15/under Breaststroke and Open Breaststroke),Jessica Jones (15/under Backstroke). A massive congratulations to all swimmers on the day. Special thanks to the relay swimmers – Harvey Kang, Cody Robins, Lucy Keyte, Ashley Fletcher, Chanel Kang, and Andrew Gulliver – without whom none of this would have been possible. Well done to all. Anyone can join (you do not have to be a member of the club) as we have a gambling licence from Birmingham City Council. So ask your friends and relatives if they would like to take part. More members equal bigger prizes 🙂

Nuneaton Junior League Round One 13/04

Well done to all the Beeches swimmers who swam in the first round of the Nuneaton and District Junior League (affectionately known as the ‘Diddy’ league). With 23 personal bests out of 32 individual races, it was a good nights work for the Beeches swimmers.

Special mentions go to Miya Walker, who stepped in to swim Umeeka Mann’s Back stroke when she slipped and hurt her shoulder. Also to Sophie Blackwell who took over Cody Robins Cannon & Breaststroke when she was sick. Both of these girls swimming personal bests in these individuals.

Another special mention goes to Jack Skett, who stood in at the last minutes on Saturday, and swam well.

A special mention to all the 9 year old swimmers, boys and girls, who were swimming their first main gala without a disqualification.
