THIS SUNDAY 04/12/16 Christmas Gala is coming :-)

Sunday sees the annual Christmas Gala at Beeches Pool. Widths / Small Pool lessons carry on as normal. Access to the Balcony will be restricted to parents who have paid their ÂŁ1 entrance fee.

Lessons carrying on are the Babes (normally Katie), Tiddlers (normally Cathy) and Brian’s widths lessons.

THERE WILL BE NO LENGTHS LESSONS OR SESSIONS on Sunday due to the gala.

Warm up will start at 2.15pm

Reminder that Dolphin Swimwear will be our guests on Sunday, selling costumes, hats and goggles – but they will only be able to take CASH so please bring your pennies with you 🙂

Masters at this year’s Etwell Eagles

A big well done to the three Beeches Masters swimmers who took part in this weekend’s Etwell Eagles Meet. Cathy Reekie, Cameron Rimmer and Pete Purdy all competed amassing 13 medals between them 🙂

Cathy Reekie won golds in the 25 Butterfly, 100 Freestyle, 25 Backstroke, 50 Free,  and the 25 Free and Silvers in the 50 Breaststroke, 25 Breaststroke, and 100 Breaststroke.

Cameron Rimmer won Gold in the 25 Butterfly, Silver in the 50 Breaststoke and 25 Backstroke, and Bronze in the 100 Free.
Cathy was top lady in her age Group . Cameron was Third and Peter 7th .overall And
with just 3 supa swimmers , Beeches were the 15th best club out of 38 clubs .

Beeches are very proud of all three swimmers – Masters swimmers now have their sites set on the Staffordshire Masters……….Saturday 18th March 2017 🙂

Entries for the Level 4 licensed meet – Saturday 17/12

We know that we haven’t yet swum the Christmas gala – but we need your entries for the level 4 licensed meet we are holding on Saturday 17th December.

All strokes – distances between 100 and 800 – cost is ÂŁ2 per entry – this is to allow the swimmers to try to achieve the times needed for the Warwickshire County Champs.

Please take a look and let us know – you need to be category 2 registered to take part.

Coventry November Open Meet

A big Beeches well done to Harvey Higgins, Lewis Carless (both Lewis and Harvey were competing under the banner of City of Birmingham), Carys Higgins and Becky Gulliver, for their swims at Coventry Swimming Clubs November Open Meet.

12 personal best times (out of 16 races) were achieved, and also the following medals:

Harvey Higgins (silver 100 Freestyle and bronze in the 200 Freestyle).

Carys Higgins (silver in the 200 Freestyle).

Becky Gulliver (silver in the 50 Backstroke).

Well done to you all – all times have been updated onto swimclubmanager.
