Beeches at the Boldmere Open Oct 15

IMG_0447Cameron and Drew Rimmer flew the flag for Beeches at this year’s Boldmere Open Meet.

Both had a weekend of successes with their swims, accruing X personal bests between them.

Day one – Cameron had some good swims, all around his PBs – and also managed a personal best on his 50 Breaststoke. Drew had a two second personal best time on both the 50 Butterfly and 50 Freestyle – and broke the 30 second mark in his freestyle race.

Day two – Drew smashed his 200 Freestyle time by 8 seconds, his 100 Freestyle by 3.5 seconds and 50 Backstroke by 1 second.  Drew also made the 100 Freestyle final too ended up 5th  – well done Drew.

Cameron swam a good 100 Breaststroke and did a 1.5 sec personal best in his 200 Breaststroke.

Massive well done from everyone at Beeches – well done guys!

Girls Changing Rom at Beeches – Sunday afternoon

For the second week running we have had an issue in the girls changing room at Beeches.

Shampoo (or some similar substance) has been poured over another persons clothing – leaving the other person without clothing to go home in.

Today’s incident happened some time between 15:55 and 16:20.

We unfortunately cannot monitor the changing rooms but parents and older swimmers please be vigilant for us.

Also – please DO NOT leave clothing or personal belongings in the changing rooms – either give your things to a parent / carer, or take on poolside.

Thank you.
