Well done to the Beeches foursome who took part in the Solihull Aquathlon on Sunday morning – only a few hours after three of them had swum in the previous night’s National League gala!

Aquathlon – where you do a short swim and then a longer run – distance dependent on age:

Carys came first in the girls’ Tristar Start age group.

Harvey came a close second in the boys’ Tristar 1 age group.

Sophia came second in the girls’ Tristar 2 age group.

Daniel came fifth in the boys’ Tristar 2 age group.

Also congratulations to Warren Higgins, who competed in the Adult Tri Section, coming a creditable 10th out of 22 competitors in his age group.

RESULTS 2015 v2 

Oh what a night! Beeches made the short hop up the M6 to Stafford, for round one of this year’s National Arena League. Some excellent swims – including 16 personal best times – on the night from all of the swimmers who took part.

Many thanks to coach Tom Reader for his coaching and swimming on the night – also to Kal Gaddu, Helen Pordage, Yvonne Rimmer, Dave Marsh and Mandy Blizard for their help in running the gala.

Well done to ALL of the swimmers on the night – third placed team on the night- fantastic swims and an amazing team spirit – lot’s of FUN was had by all!!!
