Well Done Daniel Job at the Shipston on Stour Aquathlon

Daniel JobMy son Daniel took part in his second aquathlon today at Shipston on Stour, he did so well as a tristar 2. Daniel swam 200m and ran 1365 m, Mark, nana Jean and I were shouting with excitement to encourage him on. We are so so proud of you Daniel. It was a fantastic day, weather was glorious sunshine which made the day all the more enjoyable. Well done Daniel.

Well done Charlie at the Aspire Night Swim!

CWswimA big well done to Beeches Masters legend Charlie Wheadon who took part in the first ever Aspire Night Swim At Swan Pool on Saturday Night.
Charlie produced another great swim, coming first in the None wet-suit Category , and third over all – great effort young man.

There are still 2 more night events to take part in , Liverpool and Oxford over the coming 2 weekends.

Paul Bates – Runner up Amateur Sportsman of the Year

 

paul batesPaul Bates, swimmer extrordinaire, was recently honoured by reaching the final 3 of the Birmingham Sports and Mail Amateur Sportsman of the Year award. Paul on the night ended up being runner up to a young gymnast called Joe Fraser, who is the current Youth Olympic , European and British Champion no less.

Paul said he was very happy to have been shortlisted – we think Paul is amazing and are very proud of him.

Meet and Greet September 15

Many thanks to all of the swimmers, parents, teachers, coaches and committee, who came along to our very first meet and greet.

Mel Hart, the club’s chairman, introduced the evening; followed by Dave Marsh Director of swimming.

The children present on the night were awarded their certificates by Dave Marsh. A very pleasant evening was had by all.
