Beeches club captains for 2017 are……..
Jamie Keyte and Katie Gulliver.
So swimmers – if there is anything you wish to be ‘passed onto the committee’ – please let Jamie or Katie know!
Let’s hope it’s a good year for the captains!
A massive BEECHES well done must go to this year’s winners of the Vernon Tonks Trophies. The points are accrued during the club’s Christmas gala – the ‘Diddy’ swimmer with the most points wins the trophy, one for boys and one for girls.
This year’s winners were:
For the girls – Carys Higgins
For the boys – Harvey Higgins and Joel Harris (tied)
Big congratulations go to all three swimmers – they are a credit to the club.
After ‘looking after’ the Club for the last seven months – and pulling the club into it’s most successful period in recent history, Helen Pordage has agreed to take on the role of Head Coach at Perry Beeches SSS.
Helen will continue to coach the Junior and Senior sessions.

On Saturday, 11th February 2017, we have arranged a presentation/talk on Nutrition during the morning session of the 2017 Warwickshire Championships.
The presentation will be given by Andrew Shepherd of Absolute Sports Nutrition. Andrew has worked with the ASA on England camps and with some local clubs and will be held in Studio 2 (overlooking the turn end of the pool) at the Coventry Sports Centre and will start at about 11.15 am and afterwards there will be an opportunity for questions.
The talk and questions should last for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Correct nutrition is very important to all athletes and this talk will be of interest to both parents and swimmers, we do hope that you will find the time to attend.
Regards Paul Welsh
