teacher / coach Consultation
Dear Club, Coach and Volunteers,
We are continually looking to improve the provision of coach education and training in Birmingham, therefore feedback from clubs, volunteers and coaches is invaluable. We are working closely with our local partners to organise a provision of coach education workshops and to ensure we are setting up provision based on needs, we are seeking your feedback through a short survey. Please could you take a few minutes of your time to complete the following survey:
www.sportstructures.com/SportBirminghamWorkshopConsultation
Your responses to this survey will help shape the programme of workshops based on your needs for the next 6 months. Please can you complete the survey by the 23rd September 2014.
Sport Birmingham are encouraging coaches to sign up to the Sport Birmingham Coaching Network to ensure that you have access to the latest training, funding and deployment opportunities across the city. Create your Sport Birmingham Coach account by visiting www.sportbirminghamcoaching.org .
Please also pass this onto any coaches/volunteers who you feel would benefit from attending any workshops we organise.
Many thanks for your cooperation.
Kind Regards,

Alternative ways of learning
Adding to your skills or getting qualified for other disciplines doesn’t have to involve taking time out to sit in a classroom.
There are new and exciting ways to learn if you don’t have much spare time or simply prefer to learn in a different way.
Methods like E-Learning allow you to learn from the comfort of your own home and blended learning gives you the face to face classroom opportunities to accompany on-line modules.
For more information you can check the new dedicated IoS Training page in the August edition of Swimming Times, or visit the IoS Training website.
