Anyone want to take level 1 coaching course?

Dear all

We are hoping to run a blended (online and practical) Assistant (Level 1) Coaching course in September 2017. A blended course means the theory part of the qualification must be done online prior to the start of the practical sessions reducing the amount of time needed to actually attend in person.

If we have a guaranteed 12 names we can register the course at club offer rate reducing the cost considerably from £350 to £233 per person. As a member of a SwimMark accredited club you will also qualify for a Regional support grant of up to 50% of the course cost.

The dates for the face-to-face part of the course at Coventry Leisure Centre, are:

September      Sunday 17th 9.00-5.30

Friday 22nd 5.30-9.00

Sunday 24th 9.00-5.30

We don’t have a start date for online part of the course but it would most probably be 4 weeks prior (mid August).

If you have any-one in your club interested please can you let me have their name and email address by Monday 17th July.

Kind regards

Helen

Becky Gulliver was yesterday crowned ‘Top Girl’ at the Boldmere Water Carnival, for amassing more points over the weekend than any other female swimmer.

Becky’s results were as follows:

  • Gold medal in the 100 Free
  • Silver medals in the 200 Free, 100 Fly, 50 Back, 200 Back, 400 Free, 200 Fly
  • Bronze medals in the 100 Back and 50 Fly
